Understanding the –stylize or –s Parameter
Midjourney Bot is trained to generate images that favor artistic color, composition, and form. The --stylize
or --s
parameter affects the intensity of this training’s application. Lower stylize values produce images that closely match the prompt but are less artistic, while higher stylize values create more artistic images with a looser connection to the prompt.
Default and Accepted Values
The default value for --stylize
is 100. When using the current model, it accepts integer values from 0 to 1000.
Common Stylize Settings and Their Impact on Model Version 6
Example 1: Low Stylize Value

How to Change the Stylize Value Using the Stylize Parameter
Add --stylize <value>
or --s <value>
to the end of your prompt.
